Juventus captain, Gianluigi Buffon, is pessimistic with his team's chances of meeting Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final 2017-2018. Buffon considers Madrid better than I Bianconeri.

Buffon has bad memories when he met Real Madrid. In the Champions League final last season, the Old Lady's squad failed to win the championship trophy for losing 1-4 from El Real.

"Real Madrid are a better team than Juventus, I do not say that, but the history that reveals it, the historical record and the number of wins Real Madrid get, make them better," Buffon said.

"We may be competitive with Real Madrid but they can always show something special and different, Real Madrid is a very difficult team to beat," Buffon said.

The first leg of the Champions League last eight between Juventus and Real Madrid will be held, at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday (3/4/2018). Skuat Massimiliano Allegri is required to reap positive results in order to keep going to the next phase.
