Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah reiterated his ambition to break the record of Ian Rush's season-long top scorer, who has survived for 34 years. Salah admitted would be very happy if the achievement is achieved.

Currently Salah has gained 40 goals in various competitions. Egyptian bomber is only seven goals to match the Liverpool legend record.

"There is a great chance to break the record, being the number one at a club like Liverpool is fantastic and I would love to break that record," Salah said.

"I always wanted to be number one in the record business, it would always be a good thing to see your name side by side with the legends at a club like Liverpool I think it's a different feeling and I'm very happy to do it."

Since the uniform of Liverpool, Mohamed Salah has mecetak a record. Some of them are like the best debutants in the club's history, to the top scorer for the Reds in the Premier League era.
